Our Story

Life gets loud. Somewhere in all of it, we wanted to keep one thing soft and simple, and we thought maybe you did too.

That's really where MOZZU began. It didn't start with a trend or a formula, but with a quiet feeling that jewellery shouldn't come with rules. It shouldn't wait for the "right" occasion, or hide away on an ordinary Tuesday. What you wear should answer to one thing only, which is how you feel that morning. Nothing else.

So we keep things simple, on purpose. We take away until only the pearl is left, resting against you. In a world that asks so much, we love that something this quiet can still say so much.

MO, for Modern

To us, modern means knowing when to stop.

Pearls are grown, not made, and we've never wanted to hide that. Each one has its own lustre, its own skin, its own faint story of how it came to be, and no two are ever the same. We won't sell you the fantasy that every pearl is flawless. Instead, we choose each one by hand, hold to a genuinely good standard, and simply tell you the truth about what it is.

The pearl is already beautiful on its own, soft and warm against the skin. So we keep the design quiet and timeless, letting the pearl lead. Nothing busy, nothing in the way. Just the pearl, light enough to live beside you.

ZZU, for us

ZZU is the sound of 珠, the Chinese word for pearl, said softly, almost like a whisper. It also holds two names. Behind it are two sisters whose names begin with “Zu”, and the Z is doubled quietly, once for each of us. It started as the two of us, and now holds every woman who wears one.
